Name: Bernard Wégria

Nationality: Belgium

Club (noted): Germinal Ekeren

Summary / Notes:

• Bernard Wégria (sometimes spelled Wégria) is a Belgian footballer associated in historical records with Germinal Ekeren, a Belgian club that later merged to form Royal Antwerp–Germinal Beerschot lineage in the 1990s.
• Detailed public records for Bernard Wégria’s playing position, dates of birth, career timeline, statistics (appearances, goals) and other clubs are limited in commonly available English-language databases. He is not to be confused with the more widely documented Belgian player Paul Van Himst era contemporaries.
• If you need precise career dates, match statistics, position, or biographical details, those are most reliably found in Belgian-language club archives, historical match programs, contemporary newspapers, or the Royal Belgian Football Association archives. I can provide guidance on where to look or help draft inquiries to those sources.

Sources / Research suggestions:

• Royal Belgian Football Association (URBSFA/KBVB) historical player records
• Germinal Ekeren club archives or local Antwerp newspapers from the period when he was active
• Belgian football historical websites and printed yearbooks (e.g., contemporary editions of Belgian sports almanacs)
