Notes / summary:

• José Luis Sierra is a Spanish name shared by multiple footballers; based on the club you gave (Mérida) this likely refers to a Spanish player who featured for Mérida (club based in Extremadura). Exact career details (positions, years, appearances, goals) require a specific birth year or full name to disambiguate from others of the same name.
• If you intended José Luis Sierra (born 1968) — the well-known Chilean midfielder and coach — he is from Chile, not Spain, and did not play for Mérida. If you intended a Spanish-born José Luis Sierra who played for Mérida, please provide a birth year or season to locate accurate stats.
