Silverio Penayo

I could not find reliable records of a player named Silverio Penayo from Argentina who played for Club Atlético Independiente in major historical databases, well-known squad lists, or archival sources. It is possible that:

• the name is misspelled or incomplete (common variants could include Penayo, Peñayo, Pelayos, Peña, Penayo with different given name spelling);
• the player featured at youth, reserve, regional or lower-division level rather than in Independiente's first team, so standard international databases do not list them;
• the player was active in an era or competition with poor digitized records; or
• the player is better known for activity at a different club or country and not widely documented under that club affiliation.

If you want, I can:

• search for likely name variants (for example: Silverio Peñayo, Silverio Peña, Silverio Penayo with different accents);
• look for Independiente squad lists from a specific period (please provide approximate years or decade);
• check lower-division, youth or reserve team records if you supply more context (birth year, position, or other clubs); or
• provide guidance on where to look (club archives, historical match programs, local newspapers, football federation registries).

Please tell me which option you'd like or provide any additional details you have about the player so I can continue the search and produce a fuller player profile.
