Nicolás Rotundo — Summary

I could not find any verified records in major public databases (transfermarkt, Soccerway, worldfootball.net, RSSSF) or widely cited historical rosters that list a Uruguayan player named "Nicolás Rotundo" who played for Club Atlético Peñarol at the senior level. That name does not appear in the commonly referenced lists of Peñarol first-team players, notable alumni, or match reports available in these sources up to my last update.

Possible explanations

• The player may be a youth, reserve, or lower-division player whose appearances were not widely documented online.
• The name may be spelled differently (e.g., Nicolás Rotundo with diacritics, a middle name, or a different surname form), or he may be better known by a nickname.
• He may have played for Peñarol in non-official matches (friendlies, local youth tournaments) that are not recorded in major databases.
• The player could be very recent or very old and outside the coverage window of commonly indexed sources.

How I can help further

• Search again if you can provide alternate spellings, a birth year, position, approximate years active, or a nickname.
• Provide guidance on where to check (club archives, matchday programs, local Uruguayan media, Peñarol fan forums, or the club’s official historical records).
• If you want, I can compile likely sources and links to search for lesser-known players connected to Peñarol.

Note: This response is based on available public records and databases; absence from those sources does not prove the person did not exist or was not associated with the club in a limited capacity.
