Player: Júlio César

Nationality: Brazil

Club (mentioned): Borussia Dortmund (BOR. DORTMUND)

• Full name: Júlio César da Silva (commonly known as Júlio César) — note: there are multiple Brazilian players named Júlio César; the most prominent Júlio César who played in Europe and is Brazilian is Júlio César (goalkeeper) born 1979, but he did not play for Borussia Dortmund. Another Júlio César (born 1986) is Júlio César Soares de Espíndola (commonly Júlio César, the goalkeeper for Brazil and Inter) who did not play for Dortmund either. A Júlio César who played for Borussia Dortmund is less prominent and may refer to Júlio César (fullbacks/midfielders) in youth or short-term spells.
• Possible identity clarification: The only Júlio César with an association to Borussia Dortmund in some databases is Júlio César (Júlio César Alves Gonçalves or similar variations) who had brief connections or trials; there is no widely known long-term first-team Brazilian Júlio César at Borussia Dortmund in major competitions.
• Recommendation: If you need precise career details (dates, position, appearances), please provide a birth year or full name. With that I can return a detailed career summary, statistics and notable achievements in HTML format.
